Job Description:

The position of Nurse Manager functions under the direction of the Director of Nursing and ensure quality of care in the Medical/Surgical. The position provides leadership, guidance and direction to staff. Maintains accountability for level of unit performance and results. Responsible for quality, functional excellence and contribution to accomplishment of strategic and operational objectives. The Nurse Manager practice relationship centered care in concert with the University General Hospital core values of compassion, integrity and innovation and demonstrates excellent customer service standards.
